Business & Professional

During College, he worked in the sports and news departments of the Waco News-Tribune
While in Southern California he represented professional baseball players while working for SuttCor International, a financial services firm founded by Hall of Fame pitcher Don Sutton.
After Graduation, he worked for the late Fred Hartman in Baytown.
In 1976, he became publisher of the Herald-Coaster in Rosenburg, Texas.
In 1987, became publisher of the Bayshore Sun.
Retired from the Bayshore Sun in July of 2007.

Civic & Community Activity

Served as an official scorer for the National League.
Member of the Baseball Writers Association of America.
He and his wife Grace are members of the first Baptist Church of Pasadena.
