2012 Uniform Crime Report

The Uniform Crime Report (UCR) is reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety, compiled by the FBI and published yearly as “Crime in the United States.” The listed figures indicate the National Average per year compared to the UCR figures for the City of La Porte. Also listed is information compiled from a number of our neighboring cities to make a comparison chart of the UCR Crimes that are reported. This comparison is intended to serve as an assessment tool; measuring the national average of cities our size along with other cities in the immediate area.
