| Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) |
The purpose of the Local Emergency Planning Commitee (LEPC) is to carry out for La Porte, Morgan's Point, and Shoreacres, those responsibilities established for the LEPC by Public Law 99-499, Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 (SARA) Title III, the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, (EPCRA) and related regulations. Review the LEPC Bylaws here. The La Porte, Morgan's Point & Shoreacres LEPC meets the second Thursday of each month at 11:00 am in the La Porte City Hall Council Chambers, located at 604 W Fairmont Pkwy.
