Concrete Pouring Taking Place Behind Pecan Crossing
For the next two months there will be a series of 2am weekly concrete pours, weather pending, off of Canada Rd behind the Pecan Crossing neighborhood. Ms. Reyes is the developers contact for the project and she can be reached at 281-300-6919. The first two are scheduled for December 12th and 17th. We will update this with dates as they are given to us.

Trail On Fairmont Pkwy Soon To Be Under Repair
Exxon Mobil has to make repairs to a pipelinethat will leave part of the hike & bike trail unusable forapproximately 30’ of trail. The repairs are being made a 1/2 mile westof Bay Area Blvd near the Air Liquide entrance and will takeapproximately 2 weeks and begin January 5th! Please help us share this information and letsall hope the weather cooperates so the repairs can be made as quickly aspossible!

3rd Street Improvements Underway
The improvements to 3rd Street have begun and the flow of traffic on Fairmont Pkwy will be affected for approx 3 weeks. Read more about the scope of the project and what it means for those in the area here.

Police make arrest in La Porte Cold Case involving a pair of 1997 Murders
On Friday, January 31st, 2014, investigators with La Porte Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division assisted in the arrest of Gordon Craig Houser for the offense of Capital Murder. The arrest was the result of a January 16th Grand Jury sealed indictment for two separate counts of the offense and was recently featured on TNT's Cold Justice.
