Requirements
The City of La Porte Emergency Medical Service employs Texas Department of Health certified or licensed Paramedics for full-time positions. You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience and possession of / or ability to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) certifications.

The City of La Porte starts all entry-level paramedics out at the rank of Paramedic I and offers a competitive salary with this entry-level position starting at $57,596 and ending at $78,024. Shifts consist of 48 / 96 for all positions.
